• New handbooks from Edward Elgar Publishing


    The library has access to 20 new handbooks from the academic publisher Edward Elgar publishing. Examples of titles are Research Handbook on Environmental Sociology, Research Handbook on the Sociology of Organizations and Handbook on Teaching and Learning for Sustainable Development.
  • Changes to the loan regulations


    During the pandemic, the loan period for books from the coursebook collection was extended to 7 days, while automatic renewals was introduced. We have now decided to keep the extended loan period.
  • The lecture rooms in the library are closing due to littering


    The library's lecture rooms have been open for students to use as study rooms. As of October 22, the rooms will be temporarily closed due to food stains and litter.
  • From foundry to library - a timeline


    The building that today holds the library originally served as a foundry hall for Jönköpings Mekaniska Werkstad. A lot has happened to the building since it was built in 1914 and now you can take part in the development in our interactive timeline.
  • Library exhibition about the Academic Ceremony


    On Saturday, 8 October, JU celebrates academic festivities with Professor inauguration and conferment of PhDs. At the library, we honor the festivities with an exhibition, where you can browse through theses and other publications from the participating Professors and Doctors.
