  • JU students celebrated by Swedish Institute
    Students from Jönköping University (JU) that are Swedish Institute (SI) scholarship holders were honoured during the SI Diploma ceremony by Madeleine Sjöstedt, SI’s Director-general. The ceremony took place on 25 May at the Blue Hall, Stockholm city hall, where the Noble Prize Banquet takes place.

  • Why should you vote in the European elections?
    On Thursday 30 May, Jönköping University will host an election debate ahead of the European elections on 9 June. During the afternoon, students and staff can meet the parliamentary parties in the JMW hall in the library. Later, there will be a debate where journalist Erik Lindfelt will interview the parties. Take the chance to ask questions that concern you as a student!
  • Summer party at Science Park in Jönköping
    On 30 May, there is a summer party and open house at Science Park in Jönköping where both JU staff and students are welcome. Register by 27 May.
  • Scholarships for excellent achievements
    Several Jönköping University students received the Excellence Scholarship from the Jönköpings Borgarekassa och Bjuggska fonden on Tuesday 14 May.
  • 95 % of students are happy at JU
    In October 2023, a survey was sent out by Student Health Care to all Jönköping University students. The survey was called “10 questions for you as a student” and examined JU students' experience of alcohol, drugs, sex, mental health and gambling. The results are now in!
  • Active actions and success in entrepreneurship, guest lecture by Professor Michael Frese
    What determines the success of an entrepreneur? According to Professor Michael Frese, one of the two recipients of this year’s Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research, being proactive (taking active actions) plays a significant role in entrepreneurial success. Take the chance to listen to Professor Frese’s lecture on the subject as he visits JIBS on 29 May.
