Overview
The programme fills the increasing need for leaders of initiating and managing change processes, in both for-profit and not-for-profit organisations. It is designed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset toward sustainability and regeneration. As a graduate, you will be equipped to launch and manage initiatives supporting the decarbonization of operations or renewing existing practices to promote safe and just businesses within the limits of the planetary boundaries. The challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, clean water, renewable energy, global migration, and poverty and inequality are creating conditions that threaten the stability of the global economy and the planet’s health. As a graduate, you will be prepared to address these challenges, aligning initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. You could also create opportunities to engage in interdisciplinary networks, support purpose-driven organisations, or develop corporate cultures that prioritize the Inner Development Goals.
During your studies, you will interact with students from other cultures and be taught by an engaged and international faculty team. This programme includes course projects with organisations, case analysis, and study visits.
The programme provides a solid foundation so that you can start your enterprise or work towards a position in general management, as a business developer, project leader, or sustainability manager.

Internship
In this programme you have the possibility to do a 10-week internship during your elective semester if you don’t choose to study abroad at one of our partner universities. This internship can be done anywhere in the world and is a great opportunity to see how you can apply economic theories and tools to real-life problems.
Study abroad
The fourth semester offers plenty of options to specify. Either by studying abroad at one of JIBS' recommended partner schools, or by taking elective courses of your choice at JIBS, which also allows you to do an internship in another country.
After graduation
After completing your studies you will be well prepared for work in the private, non-profit and public sector – and for post-graduate study. The programme provides a solid foundation for a position in general management, and in particular equips you for work as a project leader, business developer or sustainability manager.
