Erasmus+ scholarship for traineeship

Students who will carry out a traineeship/internship/industrial placement at a company, organization or research and education centre in one of the 33 Erasmus+ countries can apply for an Erasmus+ traineeship grant. You can also apply for the grant if you are planning to write your degree essay at a company in another European country.

The grant should be a contribution to the expenses arising in connection with the traineeship period, such as travel and accommodation expenses. The traineeship period should be 2-12 months and you are expected to work full time.

How to apply?

In order to apply for the Erasmus+ scholarship for traineeship you first need to have your traineeship approved by the course coordinator/tutor/supervisor at your JU school. In order for the online application to be finalized and valid, this person must sign a printed version of the application. The signed application must then be sent to http://educationsupport.ju.se. Please note that your application will not be processed by the International Office until you have submitted the signed application form.

You should submit your application a minimum of 1 month before the start date of the traineeship.

If the application is approved you need to fill in and sign a Grant Agreement and a Learning Agreement, which will be sent to you after the decision.

We currently apply a "first come first served" approach. Scholarships are granted as long as funding is available. Please note that it is not possible to apply for the Erasmus+ scholarship for traineeships in Sweden.

If you need help to find a traineeship opportunity, please see the website below: http://erasmusintern.org/.
