De Gruyter

Researchers at Jönköping University can publish open access in De Gruyter's journals and books with a 20% discount.

This is made possible by the participation of Jönköping University in a Swedish national consortium agreement with De Gruyter.

If the author use the discount the article will be made freely available to everyone.

The agreement comprises more than 350 subscription-based journals (hybrid journals) and over 90 fully open access journals:

Who can use the agreement?

In order to use this service you have to be the corresponding author of the article and affiliated with Jönköping University.

Corresponding author is defined as the author that handles “all correspondence about the article and sign the publishing agreement on behalf of all the authors”.

What do I have to do?

  1. When your publication (article or book) has been accepted, you email and request that it is made open access.
  2. Your affiliation with Jönköping University is verified and the publisher will send an Open Access Contribution Form.
  3. You sign the form and send it back to the publisher.
  4. The open access publishing process begins.
