Building Engineering/Civil Engineering
This program is taught in Swedish with courses taught in English semester 5.
Houses, roads, bridges and other facilities need engineers who can build and take care of them. The program educates you in the entire construction process - from planning and design to production and management.
To prepare for a sought-after profession in the market, you study subjects in community planning, construction technology, design, production and administration. This is supplemented with building information modeling where all information is collected in a digital model which in turn is used for analyzes, simulations and presentations. You also study project management, finance and entrepreneurship. After the first year, you choose between the specializations House Construction Technology or Road and Water Construction Technology.
You will learn all the stages of a building's creation and use - from design and layout, construction and production to management. In all parts, circular thinking is an important prerequisite.
You will learn to design, project, build and manage within the road and water construction technology. This can be roads, bridges, water supply and environmental facilities, water buildings and other facility buildings.

After the education, you can work as a civil engineer - a profession with great demand. You can work with design within the architectural or construction stage, in production at a contracting company or in the administrative sector and as a consultant.
