The primary purpose of the JIBS Research Faculty Board (RFB) is to ensure the scientific quality of the research and the quality of doctoral education at JIBS and to create policies governing those activities.

The Board's primary goal is to maintain a high academic standard at JIBS compared to other universities in Sweden and abroad.

The Associate Dean of Research chairs the RFB. The other members are elected faculty and a PhD candidate representative.
