Junior Gómez Manresa has a PhD in Complex thinking and he is an affiliated researcher at Communication Culture and Diversity and at the School of Education and Communication. His academic interests include integration of immigrants, segregation, social networks and other categories that affect social sustainability and social development in general. Analysis of social phenomena and processes from an interdisciplinary perspective means for Junior the understanding of the inherent complexity of each phenomenon and process.

Biography

Junior Gómez Manresa has experience in teaching since 2004 both in Cuba and in Sweden. He has taught from secondary school to university level. After his PhD defense in 2021, Junior combined his job as an adjunct high school teacher with a consulting business. Since then, he has established various collaborations with organizations in both the private and public sectors. These collaborations have included lectures and workshops on integration for unaccompanied children and young refugees and integration of foreign academics.
