Course Contents

The course deals with knowledge and insights about the impact of cultural differences on industrial activities and how national cultures differ and influence corporate strategies and people's communication and behaviors.

The course includes the following elements:
- Definitions of culture, subculture and organizational culture
- The leadership's dependence on cultural knowledge
- Global cultural patterns and social values through which they differ
- Models for cultural adaptation and stress caused by this
- Ethnocentrism and the importance of cultural identity
- The importance of stereotypical descriptions and roles
- Cultural intelligence
- To work with intercultural groups

Prerequisites

Passed courses comprising at least 150 credits in the program or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering comprising 180 credits
