SALVE (Social work, Actors, Living conditions, research VEnue) is a transdisciplinary research environment that conducts research focusing on social challenges and social problems as well as their causes and consequences on different levels of analysis. In this context, individuals, groups and systems are studied as well as the organisations and professionals tasked with managing these challenges. The interactions between individuals, groups and welfare systems are also examined.
SALVE brings together over 35 researchers. The group members have heterogenous disciplinary backgrounds, but what brings them together is a research focus on social problems, social work and welfare.
