Thomas Winman is a Professor of Education whose research interests concern digitalization, learning, and organizational development. His work focuses on how digital tools and data can be used to support complex learning environments, promote collaboration, and strengthen professionals’ capacity to develop their practice.

With extensive experience from research and development projects in collaboration with academia, the public sector, and industry, he works to create sustainable models for digital transformation and competence development. Thomas is also engaged in developing innovative educational formats that enhance lifelong learning and organizational capability.

Since 2023, Thomas has served as CEO and Academic Director of the School of Education and Communication, and he is also Vice President with responsibility for education at Jönköping University.
