Before departing for Sweden, enquire about the possibility to use your home country bank account while staying abroad.

In the beginning of your stay in Sweden, you are recommended to use your home country bank account and debit/credit card.

Depending on the duration of your stay in Sweden, there are different options.

If you are staying for less than 12 months, you are recommended to use your home country bank account for the entire stay. Most debit and credit cards from abroad work very well in Sweden.
