  • Matchmaking event makes new research collaborations possible


    Gruppbild på alla deltagare On 3–4 December, Jönköping University (JU) organized a matchmaking event in collaboration with SciencePark and Crowdhelix, focusing on upcoming calls for proposals within Horizon Europe. Over two half-days, researchers and stakeholders from various sectors, primarily academia, gathered to create new collaborations within sustainability, digitalization, and how technology can be developed with people at the center.

    Jönköping University's Academic Ceremony with the installation of professors and conferment of doctors was held on November 29. The ceremony is a great and important occasion for researchers to celebrate their academic achievements together with colleagues but also with family and friends. Behind each title there are often very proud family members who have supported and encouraged along the journey.     scenen under akademisk högtid On Saturday, 29 November, Jönköping University (JU) held its Academic Ceremony with the installation of professors and the conferral of doctoral degrees at Kulturhuset Spira.“For a researcher, there are few days that mean as much as the Academic Ceremony. Here, after many years of hard work, you receive your doctoral hat – visible proof that you have completed your doctoral education and contributed new knowledge to the world,” says Måns Svensson, President at JU.
