Archaeological excavations by School of Education and Communication

Preparations have begun for the building of a new house on campus. Before the construction work can start, the County Administrative Board has to do an archaeological excavation.

On campus, this means that all cycle stands to the right of the entrance to School of Education and Communication will be removed. Two rows will be put back at a later date. It also means that the cherry trees will have to be cut down.

The new house will be called House K and will be four storeys tall. It is planned to be completed in the autumn of 2018. The building will mainly be a house with services to the students. The building is part of the university campus development. More information on this in the autumn.
